Accountex is an authorized provider of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits for CPAs who are licensed by NASBA.
Accountex is pleased to offer several different types of CPE opportunities on the expo hall floor this year. Please pay careful attention to the following instructions as it is imperative that you follow them to receive credit.
To be eligible for CPE credit at Accountex USA:
NASBA prohibits us from granting CPE credit in cases in which participants were unable to fulfill the eligibility requirements for any reason – see more details in the FAQs below. Thanks for your cooperation!

NASBA certificates of completion will be delivered to your email (used during event registration) by October 31, 2019. If you do not receive your certificate, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. As a CPE sponsor, we retain records of your attendance.

If you paid a registration fee (after August 1, 2019) for the event and are not able to attend, please note that registrations are transferable to another person but non-refundable.

What if I forget to scan into a session or turn in my evaluation form on the way out?
NASBA requires us to keep accurate records of your attendance at our event. This is not our rule, but it is necessary that we follow it in order to keep providing you with CPE credit. We are not allowed to give out CPE credit if we do not monitor your attendance per NASBA’s rules.
If you don’t scan in at the beginning of the session and do not submit a paper evaluation form at the end of the session with your full name, time-in and time-out indicated, we have no way to verify your attendance and cannot give you the credit. Accountex staff and activity monitors are not authorized by NASBA to allow you to complete these actions after the session is complete; please do not ask them to violate NASBA’s rules.
What if I come to a session late or leave early?
Per NASBA’s rules, we are permitted to give you credit if you attended a session in its entirety – if you arrive late or do not stay the whole time, you should not receive credit for that session.
Why do you ask for time-in and time-out on the evaluation form if I’m already scanning in?
Turning in your evaluation form at the end of the session is how we monitor that you participated in the entirety of the session. In terms of asking for the time-in and time-out – we like to have a back-up attendance monitoring mechanism to avoid having to reject someone for CPE credit based on insufficient attendance monitoring.
Where should I go when I’m at the event for help?
Visit the CPE and Information Booth or the Customer Service/Registration area for additional assistance onsite! Be sure to download the mobile app for the most up-to-date information while at the event.
