Accountex 2018

Why is Accountex no longer being referred to as a conference?

Accountex 2018 will represent an evolution from prior events. While it will no longer be run as a conference, Accountex will still offer outstanding educational opportunities and attendees will have the opportunity to earn up to 23 CPE credits. The centerpiece of Accountex will be its 15,000 square foot trade show floor, with immediately adjacent demo theaters and breakout sessions. As in prior years, Accountex will feature a collection of over 100 solution providers and education that is unmatched in the industry.

How much does it cost to attend Accountex 2018?

There is no cost to attend Accountex in 2018 until August 1st, then the price with go up to $49 pre-show, then $79 onsite. Accountex’s price point for attendees has also evolved in line with its transition to a traditional trade show concept. Attendees can still expect outstanding educational opportunities from an unmatched collection of speakers and industry experts, ongoing peers networking opportunities, and a welcome party on the Expo floor.

I already know a lot about accounting solutions. Will I still benefit from attending?

Absolutely! Many of our attendees come back year after year. Even if you’re already an expert, Accountex will provide you with an opportunity to increase your knowledge, network with other attendees, and learn about the latest solutions from industry experts and technology vendors.

Is there a discounted rate for the hotel?

What type of food will be served at the event?

Meals are not included in your registration for Accountex.

There will be concessions on the expo hall floor where food will be available for purchase. There are also restaurants located in the Prudential Center, which is adjacent to the Hynes Convention Center.

Business casual attire is appropriate for all event activities.

CPE

How many CPE credits will I earn for attending Accountex 2018

You will receive the opportunity to earn up to 23 CPE credits as part of your registration.

What do I need to do to be eligible for CPE credit?

As a CPE sponsor, Accountex is required to track and maintain records of your attendance at the event in order to accurately distribute CPE credit.
Detailed instructions about how to check in for CPE credit will be emailed close to the event, readily available in the exhibit hall and accessible anytime in the Accountex app.
When provided, please follow these instructions carefully. NASBA CPE Sponsor standards prohibit us from issuing credit to those for whom we cannot verify their attendance in a satisfactory manner.

What NASBA CPE "Field of Study" does this event fall in?

All CPE credits fall in the subject area of “Computer Software & Applications.” As the content is currently being developed and reviewed, additional technical fields of study may be determined and will be updated here accordingly.

Are there any prerequisites/advanced preparation required for the event?

The NABSA knowledge level for this event is “basic.” Attendees should be familiar with accounting software, but no prior education or experience is required to register. No advanced preparation is required. Some workshops may require you to bring your laptop – if necessary, detailed information about these requirements will be sent to you prior to your arrival.

What type of delivery method will be used?

This is a “group-live” event.

How will I receive my certificate?

Within 60 days from the end of the event, your certificate will be emailed to you from cpe@accountexusa.com. Please email cpe@accountexusa.com if you have not received at this time or have any questions

What is this event’s cancellation policy?

All payments are non-refundable.
