Presentation Guidelines

  • Presentations will be available online for conference attendees to download before and after the event.
  • All presentations are required to use our conference ppt template.  Please download the conference Power Point template here.

Copyrights/Permissions: When using a quotation of 50 words or less, be sure to fully attribute the quote. If you are using copyrighted materials developed by others, written permission is required from the copyright holder for reproduction and use. This written permission must be obtained and submitted along with the material. If you use materials copyrighted by you, please note on the first page of your material or on specific pages as “Copyright 2017 All Rights Reserved. Reproduction without permission is prohibited.” We must receive permission to use any proprietary video or audiotaped material. On previously printed or non-original material – please send two “clean” print-ready (scan-able) copies of all material.

Promotional Materials:  We ask that you do NOT submit or distribute any promotional materials on site that could be mistaken by attendees as a solicitation for business or sales of any kind.

Presentation Expectations:

  • Please check the location, day and time of your presentation. Changes are often made last minute
  • Your presentation should be timed accurately and adhere to the scheduled time on the program and your contracted agreement. Please do not end your session earlier than scheduled, nor exceed the program time allotted. Attendees want to garner as much information as possible in the designated time slot. The breaks between each session are designed specifically to allow time for necessary refreshment or restroom breaks, meals, or sufficient time to walk to their next destination. Running overtime interferes with the overall schedule.

How do I register for the conference?

How early do I have to arrive before my session?
We recommend you plan on arriving at least 10-15 minutes prior to the start of your session to ensure proper set up time.

Will attendees evaluate my session?
Yes. Attendees will complete an evaluation after each session.   Upon request, speakers will receive summaries of the evaluations for their session in early December.

What is the conference attire?
Professional business attire is required when delivering presentations.

Will there be internet in my session room?
Yes.

What is the standard AV in the conference room?
Each meeting room will have a laptop, an LCD projector, Screen and Wired Lavaliere Microphone.

If you need any additional microphones or AV equipment, please place your request in the Speaker Profile.    *Please bring a copy of your presentation on a flash drive to the conference.
